From the 1st of October 2017, all vehicles passing through toll stations in Oslo will be subject to environmentally differentiated toll charges. The new scheme grants reduced charges for the use of vehicles considered sufficiently environmentally friendly. There will for example be different rates depending on the vehicle’s emission standard (euro class) and fuel type. The scheme will be extended to include other toll stations in Norway in the future; updated information about this will be published onwww.autopass.no.
Why do I have to register?
In order to obtain reduced charges, all foreign vehicles must register through the application developed by Statens Vegvesen and EPC.
What is Euro Class and where do I find it?
The Euro class is the emission standard of a vehicle, which can be found on the vehicle registration document or can be determined from the manufacturing documents. The Euro Class is determined by the year the vehicle was registered, fuel type, weight and emission.
What kind of document should I upload?
Please upload your vehicle registration document confirming the vehicle’s technical data, including the euro class and the vehicle registration number.
I do not have the vehicle anymore, what should I do?
For AutoPASS account holders: Please contact your AutoPASS provider for them to update their records and remove the vehicle. For EPC account holders: Please remove the vehicle on your account
